Here is My Question:
How long does Plegridy stay in your system after you stop taking it?
Plegridy is excreted through the kidneys. If an individual has kidney disease that can affect the speed at which plegridy is washed out. A recent article published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (see link) looked at the pharmacokinetics of plegridy in patients with various degrees of kidney impairment and healthy patients. Their data indicate that after an injection of plegridy, the detection of the drug in the blood stream was below the lower limits of detection (ie, 1.3 nanograms per milliliter) by day 14.
