I'm going to start Tecfidera next week as I was on AVONEX for 9 years. Do I have to keep the same time to take it and the week after because of twice daily dosing? How much time should I leave between them? Thanks
There is no particular reason to delay starting Tecfidera after treatment with Avonex, as long as your baseline blood work is normal. Tecfidera is taken twice every day. We usually advise people to take it with breakfast and dinner so they remember to take it with food.
