Is Glandular fever related to MS due to the virus?
Glandular fever, also known as infectious mononucleosis or EBV, is extremely common with the vast majority of adults previously exposed and harboring latent infection of the virus in a particular white blood cell called the b-cell. There is circumstantial (direct and indirect) evidence for EBV and MS, but a cause and effect relationship has never been proven. I will refer you to previous blog posts regarding this topic:
