Here is My Question:
If I have MS, can I get laser hair removal, considering the lasers use heat technology, I was thinking they might cause relapses or otherwise not work well with MS medications. Answer: Heat doesn't cause relapses, but can bring out prior symptoms from old multiple sclerosis scarring. I have had patients undergo laser hair removal without incident. There is no medical contraindication for laser hair removal from an MS perspective. A. Scott Nielsen MD MMSc Neurologist and MS Specialist at Kaiser Permanente

My best friend has Multiple Sclerosis and his first symptom and had relapse after he went through laser treatment. Is this coincidence or laser hair removel can cause this?

I believe that this is a coincidence because I have Multiple Sclerosis and am currently going through sessions of laser hair removal. I have had about five months of sessions and have not had a relapse. 5/21/2018 12:51:40 am
This is such an informative post. You have a lot of really great points. I wish I had this post as a resource when I started blogging.

I had one session of laser and am now doubting it as my pins and needles sensation has returned to my arm almost feels numb.
