What is the difference between lack of fine motor skills in the hands between arthritis and MS?
Fine motor deficits in arthritis is due to pain and stiffness (restricted motion) in the joints. With MS, the joint isn't affected, but the nerve signal to the muscles in the hand and arm are affected which can lead to clumsiness due to poor coordination of the arm and hand.
